The New Journalism
It is a style characterized by telling a story with a sense of reality but using fiction techniques. The writer's topic is aimed to inform whatever issue he intents to. It is important to mention that the New Journalism is a resemblances between fact and fiction.( Michael Wood 1). Fiction techniques are used by the writer to make the reading very provocative. This style was found in magazines such as The Rolling Stones, New York Magazine, The New Yorker between others. This style was not intended to be found in newspaper. But lets analize the main characteristics:
Scenes.
Telling the story using scenes rather than historical narrative as much as possible
Dialogue.
Conversational speech and not statements
Point of view.
All the scenes presented using a particular character
Details.
Status life of the character, it is important to detail their behaviour, possessions and his surroundings
In sum, a very interesting style that mantains elements of reporting following the facts accurately.
